
Getting the Heat Right in Your Bathroom

Keeping the Glare Away
Most basic infrared lamps are blinding. They’ve got this harsh, white glare that just feels wrong in a relaxing space. To fix that, we use special quartz coatings and filters. Here is the trick: we shift the energy. By focusing on the longer waves, we get rid of that annoying “white light” effect. You still get all the warmth, but without the ocular stress. Sure, filtering out some of those frequencies means we lose a tiny bit of raw heat power, but it’s a trade we’re happy to make to keep things safe for your family.
Smart Housing
We don’t just toss a bulb in the ceiling. We wrap these lamps in reflective aluminum alloys. This pushes the heat down in a nice, controlled cone right where you need it. Plus, those reflectors do more than just save energy. They act like a shield, stopping light from leaking out sideways and hitting you right in the eyes.
The Boring (But Important) Install Stuff
You’ll want to make sure your wiring can actually handle the sudden surge of power when the heater kicks in. I always suggest high-temp wiring. Trust me, you don’t want your insulation melting near the housing. One more thing: watch your voltage. If you push too much through, you’ll fry the filament way too soon. And for heaven’s sake, keep the area around the housing clear. If things get too hot, the thermal cutout will trip and kill the power. It’s a hard limit, but it’s there to make sure you don’t accidentally scorch your ceiling.
