To make this work, we needed a bit more room inside the unit. That means the heater is slightly larger than the sealed versions. But honestly? That extra space is a blessing. It lets the air flow better around the electrical terminals, which keeps the wiring from getting cooked by the heat. We also used high-temp ceramic insulators so the clips don’t warp or get flimsy after they’ve been heated and cooled a thousand times. Why This Matters for the Big Jobs If you’re managing a building with 50 of these units, the math changes. In the commercial world, the parts are cheap—it’s the labor that kills your budget. A facility manager can’t spend their entire week replacing 50 full fixtures just because a few tubes gave out. They need to be able to swap a part and move on. Because we use standardized sizes, you just pick the tube that matches the wattage and length you need for that specific room.
